Queen’s Park FC has signed Aaron Healy. The 19-year-old winger joins the club from Arthurlie. The former Celtic player, born and raised in Glasgow, signed a four and a half-year contract, today at Lesser Hampden.

Aaron Healy progressed through the early stages of the academy of Celtic and but was released at the age of twelve.

Aaron Healy: ‘Feel I have something to add’
“I’m delighted to have joined the club and I’m really looking forward to the opportunity of playing at this level. I have watched all the games this season, and I must say that the club play exciting football. I am very happy to join in that playstyle and I feel I have something that could add to that.”

Marijn Beuker: ‘Always looking for players who can create’
“We are very happy with what is another fantastic signing for the club. We have been looking at Aaron for several months and after his trial we were convinced of his qualities. We are pleased Arthurlie allowed us to welcome Aaron to our team in January. We are always looking for players who can create threat with a 1v1, but equally can unlock a teammate with a through ball. Aaron is certainly a player that fits that profile.”

Owen Coyle: ‘A player that excites the fans’
“Aaron is a player that will excite the fans. He has a lovely touch, great balance and likes to take defenders on. He has earned the opportunity to be part of our group and we welcome him to our club. He fits perfectly in our way of playing and we believe he has the potential to further improve.”

Transfer fee

As usual, Queen’s Park FC does not make any statements about the transfer fee involved in the transfer of Healy.
