Queen’s Park FC is pleased to confirm admission arrangements for our cinch League 1 Boxing Day fixture with Dumbarton at Firhill (kick off 3pm) will be as follows:
Queen’s Park Members and Season Ticket Holders – all members and season ticket holders who wish to attend can present their ticket at the turnstile as normal. We hope to see as many of you as possible cheering on the team!
Sale of Match Tickets – 120 tickets, for Queen’s Park supporters only, are available to buy. These are on sale now via our online ticket centre – HERE. Regrettably, the 500 crowd limit imposed by Scottish Government means no visiting Dumbarton fans can be accommodated. We are very sorry about this decision, however we hope Dumbarton fans will understand why, in the circumstances, we have prioritised admitting as many Queen’s Park fans as possible.
Live Stream Price Reduction – in addition to our inability to accommodate Dumbarton fans, we also appreciate there may be some Queen’s Park and Dumbarton fans who may feel uncomfortable choosing this event to come out of their house and travel to the stadium. The club has therefore decided for this fixture to reduce the pay per view price to just £5, with all profits going to support a fundraising initiative in our local community. Govanhill Baths are running “Sponsor a Tile, Make Your Mark on Govanhill Baths” to raise funds to help provide equipment enabling equal access and facilities for all. For information on how to buy a live stream click HERE.
Hospitality – numbers have been capped and no new bookings can be made for this game. Stadium staff will configure our hospitality lounge to meet all public health guidelines regarding physical distancing, household mixing, ventilation etc.
Community Tickets for Business – this initiative has been delayed to a game later in the season to allow as many of our regular supporters to attend as possible.
Physical Distancing – 1 meter physical distancing is required in the seating bowl. Groups of friends and families can sit in close proximity, but with 1 meter between each person. Spectators do not need to occupy the specific seat number on their ticket. We have plenty of space in the Jackie Husband stand so you can spread out accordingly. If required, our stewards will help you find a suitable seat to watch the game.
Face Coverings – unless exempt please wear a face covering in all internal areas of the stadium. In view of the rules on isolation, we strongly advise all spectators to wear a face covering while seated watching the game.
General Guidance – we hope as many Queen’s Park fans as possible can come along to Firhill and cheer on the team. These continue to be challenging times and the health and safety of our players, staff and spectators remains of the highest priority. The club encourage everyone planning to attend Firhill on Boxing Day to:
- Do a lateral flow test before setting off. If that result is positive, follow guidelines, book a PCR test and do not attend the game
- Make use of the hand sanitiser points located around the stadium
- Follow guidance on physical distancing and face coverings
- Take a lateral flow test on Monday morning.
