Last year, in addition to a season loan to Lowland League side, Edinburgh University, Alex proved in the Glasgow Cup games that he is a powerful and dynamic midfielder.

Alex Bannon: ‘Over the moon to finally sign my extension at Queen’s Park’
“Over the moon to finally sign my extension at Queen’s Park. After being at the club for the majority of my life, it’s been my ambition from the beginning to reach this point. However it’s only the start and I am excited to continue to develop into a better player and hopefully help the club achieve big things in the near future.”
Marijn Beuker:’ A powerful, dynamic midfielder’
“Last year Alex proved in the Glasgow Cup games that he is a powerful and dynamic midfielder. Next step will we to also further develop his quality of playing the ball from the foot. We believe the opportunity we have created in the first team setup and the addition of Young Queen’s Park, will be a fantastic stage to ‘knock on the coach door’.”
