Ben McPherson has been chosen to be in a 23-player strong squad by Scotland under-21 Head Coach Scot Gemmill for next month’s UEFA Under-21 EURO 2025 qualifier against Spain.
The 19-year-old, who joined the Spiders on loan from Celtic for the season has featured in the last three cinch Championship games for the club, already has two caps at this age group for Scotland and will be looking to add to that in Jaen on Monday, September 11.
As well as facing Spain in what is their opening game Scotland will meet Belgium, Hungary, Kazakhstan and Malta in their Group B games over the next 14 months.
