Buck’s Bar Southside, which is based just around the corner from The city Stadium at 1021 Cathcart Road, have returned for a second season of sponsorship at Queen’s Park and they are back – bigger and better.
The Southside eatery is only one of the Buck’s collection of restaurants, who all serve Chicken and Vegetarian meals, as well as sumptuous sides, which can be eaten along with your choice of one of the 50 Hot Sauces from across the world.
They joined up with The Spiders last season to sponsor a Player of The Month Award, which proved very popular with the players as well as Stadium Branding and working with the club in their Community Programmes.
St Fillan’s Primary School pupil Jude McLauchlin was the winner in a ‘Design a Buck’s Shake’ competition, which was run in conjunction with Buck’s Bar Southside by the club across local schools last year and we are delighted to say that the competition will run again during this season.
Also, Buck’s Bar Southside are proud supporters of the Funding Neuro Charity and have asked Queen’s Park and their fans to also back that cause in a sumptuous way in an upcoming home league match. A ‘pop-up’ Buck’s Bar is going to be established in Bar 1867 to serve a range of dishes normally available in the restaurant and all the profits from sales on the day will go to support.

Bucks Southside commented: “We enjoyed our first year of being involved with our local team and their community programmes. The Player of the Month Award was always well supported and everyone at Bucks took an interest in who the winners would be.
“This season will see something different with the pop-up Buck’s at Bar 1867 and we are hoping everyone will get behind it and help us as we raise funds for Funding Neuro”
