Cameron and Aaron to Visit Foundation Kids

The bond between the First Team players of Queen’s Park and The Queen’s Park FC Foundation will be further strengthened this week when defender Cameron Bruce and striker Aaron Healy spend an evening with community teams who represent the club in local leagues.

Last week Men’s First Team players Alex Bannon and Scott Williamson as well as Ellie Kane and Abby Callaghan from the Queen’s Park’s Women’s Team attended training sessions with the Boys 2010 and 2011 squads and the Girl’s Under 14 team at the Glasgow Palace of Art.

This time out Cameron and Aaron will be popping in at Nethercraigs to meet up with 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 age groups for boys as well as the under-8 and under-10 Girls Teams with First Team Coach Owen Coyle Junior saying: “I am a firm believer in Community Football and that everyone at the club plays a part in that community. Alex and Scott enjoyed their visit last week and I am sure that Cameron and Aaron will enjoy theirs as well and help pass on the message of how important enjoying playing football is.”

“I am going to be taking a couple of training sessions with The Queen’s Park FC Foundation next week as part of confirming everyone’s commitment to building the bonds in our community.”

Ross Maloney Community Officer at Queen’s Park FC Foundation said: “We really enjoyed having the players in working with the young players last week. They passed on a few tips that our squads will benefit from and I am sure that that will be the case again this week.”
