Charlie Pops in for a Visit

Charlie Fox returned to Belmont House School after the Inverness CT match last Saturday to answer questions on the match.

Belmont House School Teacher Mr Friel said: “Our pupils at Belmont House School have loved being part of the ‘Tickets for Schools’ scheme organised by Queen’s Park FC. Last week, they were inspired by the visit of Charlie Fox, who kindly came to the school to drop off the tickets and scarves for the fixture against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The club provided an outstanding matchday experience for our pupils and the team put on a performance to match. The children certainly did their best to cheer Charlie and the team on from the side lines! They were buzzing to see him again at the Q and A session.

Thank you very much to everyone at Queen’s Park for organising this and we look forward to working with them in the future.”

Kieran Koszary, Head of Commercial said: “Once again it was fantastic to see the energy and passion the kids brought to the match on Saturday and we were all delighted they witnessed a victory.

We are constantly engaging with local schools as we look to grow the Queen’s Park Family and we will be announcing a fantastic tickets initiative for all schools for our return to Hampden on 3rd December shortly.

Charlie held a question and answer session and a fun football activity with the pupils. He was asked:

  • What was the reaction like from the players and manager at half time when you were 0 – 1 behind?
  • Apart from yourself, who do you think played the best in the game against Inverness?
  • What do you think are the most important skills to be a successful center back like yourself?
