As Scotland’s oldest club with a proven track record in developing future Scottish internationalists, Queen’s Park Football Club are focussed on getting children and young people playing football. We already have a popular community football programme, and we have ambitious plans to develop this significantly through expanding our boy’s community teams, creating a girl’s pathway through to our Women’s Team, and extending our adult football provision.

To help us achieve this we are looking for passionate, motivating and enthusiastic football coaches who believe in playing a key role in the development of the next generation of football players. You will coach players of all abilities, and we will provide you with the perfect stepping stone for your career with a strong commitment to coach education, and supporting you with the resources you need to develop.

We are looking for dedicated coaches who can work with players of all abilities. You would commit to two training nights a week with your squad and a game at the weekend.

In return we will provide you with kit and support you through the Scottish FA’s coaching pathway and just as importantly you’ll have fun and be making a fantastic contribution to people’s lives!

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Planning, delivering and evaluating each session
• Attendance & punctuality
• Communication with parents
• Have a driving licence
• Organisation

Qualifications & Certificates:

Essential

• Experience of working with children (Age 5 – 13)
• Scottish FA Level 1.1 Introduction to Coaching Certificate
• PVG
• Driving Licence

Desirable

•  Scottish FA Level 1.3 Children’s Coaching Award Certificate
• Emergency First Aid
