Queen’s Park Football Club were founded in 1867 and are credited with shaping football as a game where team-work and partnerships are essential and these values remain in place now.

The Spiders were innovators early into their existence as their ‘Scotch Professor’ players, who passed to team-mates rather than running solo with the ball, dominated football firstly in Scotland before going on to show the world how it is done.

As well as the passing game, Queen’s Park played a part in launching the crossbar, half-time breaks and turnstiles, as well as the careers of RS McColl and Sir Alex Ferguson, with recent youth graduate Andrew Robertson going on to captain the National Side.

The club remains innovative over 150 years after its formation, on and off the pitch, and are keen to work with partners who enjoy being steeped in history, enjoy taking pride in what we are doing now and enjoy taking pride in what we can do together.

We are a club that is growing, and growing from the grassroots up, with a Community Programme that is building a larger base of supporters, a Commercial Programme that has a brand-new Hospitality Facility to work with at Lesser Hampden and people who are committed to deliver growth in the right way.
