Community Day – Another Success Story

We were delighted to welcome coaches, players and parents from our community football programmes to our fixture last Saturday against East Fife at Firhill Stadium.

Once again the feedback from those who attended was fantastic and they were able to witness a Spiders victory on the day.

“This has been a great initiative from the Club and really highlights the our community football programmes are really valued an important part of the Club. The kids and their parents had a great time and for many it was their first visit to a Spiders match – but they will definitely be back”– Charlie Bennett Head of Community

“Attending the match was a great learning experience for our players as they got to see at first hand how the first team play football. I’m sure we will see what they have learned in our training sessions and matches throughout the season” – Ross Maloney Football Development Officer

“We had a brilliant time. We love playing for the Spiders at community level so it was brilliant to get to see the big team play and win” – 2010 Community Team

“When we grow up we want to play for Queen’s Park. They’re a brilliant team. We loved celebrations when we scored!” – 2016 Community Team

Thank you once again to all those who attended and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
