TIMAM SCOTT has signed a contract extension with Queen’s Park FC.
The 19-year-old made his first-team debut last season and registered his first start after helping Queen’s Park B to a second consecutive SPFL Reserve League title.
His performances against Hamilton and Ayr United lit up the latter stages of the campaign and the highly-rated young winger has agreed another deal with the Spiders, having played with the club since 2021.
Timam, who previously played in Rangers youth ranks and the Forth Valley Football Academy, said: “I’m buzzing to re-sign and get this over the line.
“I’ve been here for about four years and I’ve enjoyed every minute. I always feel I am getting my chance to play up a level – now I’m into the first-team and I’m so happy about that.
“Hopefully that can continue and we can have a good season and build on my starts and games at the end of last season.
“I loved that experience of first team football, it’s now about adding more to my games – like goals and assists – that’s important for an attacker like me.
“I was so happy when the head coach was appointed – he knows me well, I know him well and I know how he wants to play and I think it suits me. It’s the way I like to play.”
Queen’s Park head-coach Sean Crighton added: “Timam deserves this massively.
“He showed it at the end of last season when he was in the first-team and around the squad.
“He had a very good year for the B-team, scoring good goals, wining penalties and he’s the type of player who gets you off your seat.
“That’s what I want from my wingers and Timam is one of the best young players at doing that.
“I am looking forward to working with him.”
