Dundee United Match Preview

Queen's travel to Dundee today to take on league leaders Dundee United in SWPL2 today

After last Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Kilmarnock, it’s a hard test against runaway SWPL2 League leaders Dundee United at the Regional Performance Center, Dundee today for the Spiders.

The last time the two sides met, in November, the score was 6-0 to Dundee United.

League form coming into the game:

Queen’s Park: DLWLD

Dundee United: WWDWW

Going into the game, coach Barry Rodgers commented: “It’s been a really good week of training.  The players have been working very hard and buying in, in terms of our playing style, which I can see progressing well. Collectively we can see progress.”

Going away to Dundee United will certainly be a test.  They have had a fantastic season so far.  They are an experienced side, with some players who have been around  SWPL1 for a long time.  So we know the challenge this game is going to bring us, but we are excited for it.  We are looking forward to meeting the challenge face on. We know we are going to have to do everything spot on to get anything out of the game.  We are looking to perform to the best we can and to continue to develop our playing style.”
