Club photographer, Ian Cairns, hands over a crate of Currie’s Red Kola Original, to head coach Callum Davidson after making a pledge to Callum before the Scottish Cup tie against Rangers.
The week leading up to the cup-tie against Rangers Ian and Callum were both in the club office and Ian was holding one of the bottles of Red Kola the club used for the Man of the Match awards.
Ian continues: ” Callum asked me what I had there and I said Currie’s Red Kola. He happened to mentioned that it was one of his favourite soft drinks, so I immediately said ‘If you beat Rangers on Sunday I will get you a crate of the stuff’. “
Well we did win at Ibrox on Sunday and after a very enjoyable night celebrating and editing all the pictures from the game, I thought I’d better fulfil my offer and get that crate of Red Kola for Callum”
And that’s where our partner sponsor Dunns stepped in. Marketing Manager Niall Deveney offered to supply the Kola to us. Niall along with Stephanie Alexander from Dunns Marketing and Kate Austin, Dunns Graphic Designer, came along to first team training at Lochinch to present the create of Currie’s Red Kola to Callum “
Ian concluded: “With our Scottish Cup quarter-final against Aberdeen on Saturday, I’d better start looking through the extensive range of products that Dunns offer to see what I can get Callum for getting us through to the semi-final”
Dunns Marketing Manager Niall Deveney said:“We were delighted to hear that Callum’s secret to a good cup run is a glass of Currie’s Red Kola! If anything can help the team to get past 11 Reds at the weekend then surely it’s a crate of 12!”
