Ellie Kane has won the August 2023/24 Scottish Women’s Premier League 2(SWPL 2) Player of the Month award, supported by Park’s Motor Group. This is the first awards of the 2023/24 season which kicked off on Sunday 13th August.
In ScottishPower Women’s Premier League 2, Ellie Kane becomes the second Queen’s Park player to win the award after an incredible start to the 2023/24 campaign.
Playing in a role further up the park, Kane has rewarded her side with seven goals and three assists. Having scored 15 so far this season, Kane has been involved in 66% of Queen’s Parks’ goals.
She has nearly doubled her total from last season having scored four goals in 2022/23 as her side carry a 100% record going into September.
The nominees for the August 2023 SWPL 2 award were Lucie Burns (Kilmarnock) and Mariluz Sanchez (Stirling University).
