Euan Henderson on loan from Hearts

22 year old Euan Henderson has joined Queen’s Park on loan from Hearts for the rest of the season.

Henderson joined Hearts at under-15 level from local club Hutchison Vale.

The forward made his debut on the final day of the 2016-17 season, coming off the bench at Parkhead against Celtic. Euan has made 56 appearances for Hearts. He has had two loan spells at Montrose in season 2018-19 and Alloa Athletic in season 2021-22.

Euan Henderson: ‘Looking forward to contributing to a successful second half of the season’
“I’m really delighted to be at Queen’s Park and looking forward to contributing to a successful second half of this season. I have heard good things from my teammate Connor Smith about the long term process of the club and look forward having a contribution to that.”

Marijn Beuker: ‘We have been following him since last season’
“We are very happy with the addition of Euan to our club. We have been following him since last season when he had a good loan spell at Alloa Athletic. Since then he has had more experience on Scotland’s highest level including contributions in the UEFA Conference League. We have been looking for a dynamical striker that offers the team even more quality, so we can continue performing in the league and Scottish Cup.”

Owen Coyle: ‘He is a very talented young man with ability, pace and power’
“We are delighted to bring Euan to the club. He had a lot of options, but when we spoke with him he was very excited to come and help the team. He is a very talented young man with ability, pace and power. He can score and create goals and is a great fit for how we want to play. We look forward to helping in his development.”
