SEAN CRIGHTON has learned the first four opponents of his career as Queen’s Park head coach, following this afternoon’s Premier Sports Cup group stage draw.
The Spiders were seeded as a pot 2 side in the group stage process, alongside seven other rivals sides from last season’s William Hill Championship.
The draw was conducted by Michael Stewart and lined up the first competitive fixtures of the new season, which kicks off on the weekend of July 12/13.
Queen’s Park will play in Group A with four matches – two at home in The city Stadium, and two away.
The other sides within the section are: Falkirk, Cove Rangers, The Spartans, Brechin City.
Fixture dates, and venues will be communicated in due course.
