Championship League leaders Queen’s Park take on Raith Rovers in the SPFL Trust quarter final tie tonight at Ochilview eyeing the prize of a semi final place. With the Spiders firing on all cylinders and Simon Murray finding the net with increasing regularity it’s sure to be an exciting game.
Thanks to the generosity of the SPFL Trust, The Queen’s Park FC Foundation has been provided free tickets for their programme participants to attend the game, which they have decided to share with participants of the ‘Warriors in the Community’ the community arm of Stenhousemuir FC. The initiative helps achieve a key outcome in the SPFL Trust’s aim of ensuring the SPFL Trust Trophy is the most community-engaged in Scotland.
Charlie Bennett, Chief Executive of The Queen’s Park FC Foundation commented: ‘Firstly we would like to thank the SPFL Trust for the free tickets for our own programme participants and secondly for allowing us to share the tickets with our friend’s at Warriors in the Community who like us are focused on providing programmes and activities that improve the lives of people living with challenging circumstances. We are also delighted to support the SPFL Trust’s aim of meaningful community engagement across the Trophy and I hope the everyone has a great time at the match.’
