Funeral of Eddie Hunter

QUEEN’S PARK FC can now confirm details for the funeral of Eddie Hunter.

All at the club were deeply saddened at the passing of the legendary Spiders player and head coach earlier this month.

On the pitch Eddie amassed almost 200 games for the club and led from the dugout over a decade and a half – winning the 1980/81 Second Division title in the process.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2, at 10am in Linn Crematorium, Glasgow.

Fans will also have the opportunity to honour his contribution to the club during a pre-match applause at Saturday’s fixture with St Johnstone.

The Hunter family would also like take this opportunity to thank all who have sent messages of condolence and support received during this sad time.
