With Friday’s match against Dundee at Ochilview deciding which club is the winner of this year’s cinch Championship, Queen’s Park are issuing a call to supporters and friends to prove that ‘Black and White’ are the most vibrant colours.
The club are asking their supporters to back Owen Coyle and his side as they look to secure Premiership football next season by building a Two-tone sea in club colours when they face the Dens Park side.
Kieran Koszary, Head of Commercial at Queen’s Park, said: “The team will need incredible backing to help them clear this final hurdle and I am sure our supporters can help them do that. I know that our players would get a real boost when they run out to start the game and see (and hear) the support they have.”
“To help do that it would be great if everybody would build a vibrant Two-tone wall of ‘Black and White’ by wearing home hooped strips or black and white colours of any kind. You normally associate colours such as bright reds and pinks with vibrancy however we have the opportunity to show that black and white can do the same.”
“Our fans have backed the team wonderfully well throughout the season and I am sure that they will support our two-tone idea as well.”
“To keep the colour theme going I know that ‘White’ noise can often only be heard in the background but that a vibrant ‘Black and White’ noise will be heard on the pitch.”
Kieran added: “It promises to be a very exciting evening and our thanks go to the members and season ticket holders who purchased an additional ticket for a Queen’s Park supporting family member or friend.”
