Di Maggio’s – part of the 20-strong DRG Group of restaurants which also includes Amarone, Barolo and Café Andaluz – has signed up as training kit sponsor and the restaurant name will adorn the front of both the training and warm-up kits for the remainder of this season.
The company has also supported the club with the Player of the Month award and were partners in the innovative Design a Pizza competition run with local schools.
Kieran Koszary, Head of Commercial at Queen’s Park, said: “We’re delighted that such a close partner who shares so many of our values has reaffirmed their commitment to our partnership. It just shows that many businesses and organisations are seeing real benefit in working with a football club that is rooted in, and committed to, its local communities and has a strong sense of purpose.”
Mario Gizzi, Director of Di Maggio’s said: “This is our 2nd year supporting Queen’s Park and have been bowled over by the effort and great work they do in the community. We’ve two pizza specials running in November at Di Maggio’s – the winning entries of the pizza competition organised by the club. The volume and quality of entries was fantastic. We’re really looking forward to continuing this exciting partnership and supporting the club and adding value to surrounding community over the next year”.
