QUEEN’S PARK can confirm Josiah Sowa has joined Dumbarton FC on a season-long loan.
The striker has been with The Spiders since July 2024, and won the SPFL Reserve League with Queen’s Park B in his first season.
Last season, the Canadian followed manager Sean Crighton into the first-team set-up, and made his first-team debut off the bench against Airdrieonians.
Josiah spent the second half of last term on loan at Annan Athletic and will now return to William Hill League Two with the Sons.
First-team manager Sean Crighton said: “We wish Josiah well for his loan at Dumbarton.
“As I have repeatedly said, it is important for our young players to learn the game by playing minutes and this will be another opportunity for Josiah to do so after his time at Annan last season.
“We were pleased to work with Dumbarton on this loan deal and will continue to monitor his progress in L2.”
All at Queen’s Park wish Josiah well for his loan at The Rock.
His first taste of life at his new club comes this afternoon with Dumbarton making the short trip to East Kilbride in the Premier Sports Cup.
