Lee Kilday: ‘Delighted to sign again and looking forward to the season ahead’
“I’m delighted to sign again and looking forward to the season ahead! I’ve loved my time at Queen’s Park so far and hoping this will be another successful year! The club is moving forward in all the right areas and it’s great to be a part of that! The championship is going to be a tough league but it’s going to be a challenge that everyone at the club is going to relish, just can’t wait to get started now.”
Marijn Beuker: ‘An intelligent and experienced defender who can read the ‘story’ of a game’
“Lee is an intelligent and experienced defender who can read the ‘story’ of a game very well. In the last months Lee had developed his involvement in the build up where he had shown the creative and effective qualities we are looking for as we move forward. Lee, approaching his 30th birthday, shows that it’s never too late to continue to develop. His eagerness to learn is an inspiration for young players as well.”
Owen Coyle: ‘Lee gives us good options in the team’
“We are happy to have re-signed Lee. Last season he was important for the team and from a strategic point of view he gives us good options in the team. As a head coach I always love that flexibility.”
