Let’s Rise in the East Together

There is everything to play for when Queen’s Park travel to Dunfermline on Saturday in their Championship play-off encounter – and Spiders boss Owen Coyle believes the backing of loyal fans will help the team rise to the occasion in the east.

With the tie finally balanced at 0-0, the gaffer believes the backing of the supporters will be vital in the push.

“I’ve said it before, whether there is 500 fans or 10,000 fans in the stand the backing they can give us makes all the difference.

“It would be magnificent if our loyal supporters travelled in numbers for what is a huge game for the Club. I know that we can feel that backing that comes from the support, and I’d urge every fan who can make the journey to East End Park to get along and cheer us on. This Club has a huge history, built on community, team spirit and a real sense of family.

“That togetherness is what has seen us get to this stage, where we are one game away from the Championship play-off final. We know we are stronger together, so let’s push together to get to something that would be momentous in the Club’s recent history.”
