TWO SPIDERS were on opposing sides on Saturday as Josiah Sowa and Milosz Sliwinski’s loan clubs met in William Hill League Two.
Annan hosted Dumbarton with both Queen’s Park players on the bench – Milosz was on the winning side although wasn’t involved while Josiah was a second half substitute for the Sons and played the last 25 minutes of the match as his former side won 2-0.
Darryl Carrick was ruled out for the Galabankies with a foot injury and also missed the 2-2 draw against Berwick Rangers in the KDM Evolution Trophy in midweek, however Sliwinski complete 90 minutes of the draw.
Dumbarton also drew 2-2 on Tuesday night, against Celtic B with Josiah Sowa playing the second half.
Lewis Stewart was on target for Rangers B in the same competition too – however Rangers lost 2-1 at Bonnyrigg Rose. Aiden McCallion also featured while Zebedee Lawson was a second half substitute.
After his man of the match performance last week, Archie Aitchison was substitute for Gretna’s 3-2 home defeat to Largs Thistle.
Lewis Smith missed out for Arthurlie after picking up an injury on his debut for the Barrhead side.
