QUEEN’S PARK FC can confirm Milosz Sliwinski and Darryl Carrick have moved to Annan Athletic on loan.
Both have featured for the Spiders first-team over pre-season and in the Premier Sports Cup campaign.
Now they will begin the league campaign in William Hill League Two at Galabank after agreement was reached this week.
Milosz has previously spent time at Dumbarton FC and Clyde FC, while Darryl played on loan at Annan for the second half of last season.
Queen’s Park first-team manager Sean Crighton said: “This is a good time for amilosz to go and make his mark and play games at a senior level.
“He will have a tough task trying to take their No1 spot but that’s what he must do.
“He has been superb since we came back and he has grown a lot over the past couple of years He’s a young goalkeeper with a lot going for him and we need his development to continue.
“We’ll keep track of things until January and then it’s up to him to come back and stake a claim with our other two. We have really good competition in our goalkeeping department.
“Like Milosz, Darryl needs a consistent base of games to continue his development and he’s been involved with us over pre-season and the Premier Sports Cup games.
“He has the tools to be a very good centre-back and he’ll learn from playing games every week but also training with us regularly and contact time with our coaches and defenders and we hope he can kick on.
“Annan is a club we know well with a manager who wants to play young players.
“We had good feedback from the players who went to Annan and the feedback from Willie Gibson was the players did themselves justice so I’m pleased both Milosz and Darryl have this opportunity.
“We wish them both well and hopefully they can come back better, bigger and stronger and more equipped to compete in the William Hill Championship.”
