QUEEN’S PARK midfielder Jack Turner told the pupils of Loch Primary all about life as a professional footballer this week.
Jack was the latest player to take part in our popular Tickets for Schools initiative which takes Spiders stars out into the community and into the classroom to meet fans of the future.
Kids can quiz our first-team footballers on life in the Championship, how they made it in the game and much more.
Then, they can see theory put into action at the weekend with FREE tickets to the game.
This week it’s Greenock Morton for the lucky school group who will also receive scarves, t-shirts as well as free coach travel to Hampden from partners McDades Coaches.
Jack said: “It was great to meet the young people at Loch Primary and answer some of their questions.
“The staff made me feel really welcome and it took me back to my school days when I had dreams of becoming a footballer.
“I really loved giving something back and talking to them about my career and their own ambitions.
“Hopefully the kids have a great day out cheering on the team.”
All pupils who take part will also be granted a FREE parent and child ticket for the next Queen’s Park home game after their school visit – and anyone who returns for a third time and hits a hat-trick will net a special gift or Spiders experience as a benefit.
Head of commercial at Queen’s Park Kieran Koszary added: “It’s great to have Tickets For Schools back in action in 2025 after the festive break.
“Engaging with fans of the future is a big priority for Queen’s Park as the southside community’s club and the programme has been a brilliant success in meeting new supporters and bringing them to Hampden – some for the first time.
“We look forward to seeing the pupils from Loch Primary again in the future and visiting many more schools over the coming weeks.
“Thanks, as always, to our friends at McDades Coaches who supply for transport for each school and provide invaluable support to the programme.”
