Make Some Noise

There is nothing football fans enjoy more than celebrating a goal together – and now Queen’s Park are offering supporters a unique opportunity to create a memorable and personal celebration.

The Club – which plays Enjoy Yourself by The Specials when the Spiders hit the net – is asking fans to nominate specific tunes to be played when each individual player scores, creating personal goal celebrations for each of their heroes.

And while Enjoy Yourself will continue to be played, it will be mixed in with the individual songs selected to provide a special goal-scoring atmosphere for Queen’s Park at their temporary home at Firhill.

Kieran Koszary, Head of Commercial at Queen’s Park, said: “As Scotland’s oldest club we will keep our own traditions alive, and that includes playing our goal celebration song. But we also wanted to add freshness and energy and we think fans will come up with some cracking celebration songs they can enjoy with the players. We want our home from home to feel it is our place.”

Fans can vote by emailing or by commenting on social media posts. Fans are also being urged to look out for a few changes to the pre match entertainment from Saturday as the club welcomes a new matchday announcer.
