Queen’s Park’s Robin Veldman’s positive start to life in the cinch Championship, and in Scotland, has been recognised with the Dutchman selected as the Glen’s Vodka Manager of the Month for August.
The Spiders won their first three Championship games under Veldman, who was recruited by The city Stadium side in the summer from Belgian club Anderlecht, with success seen against Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Highlands and Arbroath home and away.
Head Coach Veldman said: “I have enjoyed my first few weeks in Scottish Football however there is more to come from Queen’s Park on the pitch. We are a new side and learning all the time from each other.
“I would like to thank all the coaches and backroom staff for their assistance since I joined and also thank the players for the work that they have put in.”
