It’s the first away trip of a busy month for the Spiders as we travel North to take on Paul Hartley’s Cove Rangers.
OWEN COYLE’S THOUGHTS
“We know Cove Rangers are a tough team to come up against and their home form has been good this season. They’ve had the change of manager of the last week and they’ll be looking for a reaction to that and on the back of the result from last weekend. We know results like that are very unlike them and we will need to be at our best tomorrow.”
“It’s certain to be a real tough challenge for us but we just have to concentrate on ourselves, look to be at our best and look to do what we know we do best.”
“We obviously go into the game with good momentum behind us from recent results, however that is in the past and counts for nothing once we cross that line this. We put a big onus on ourselves to reach the levels that we want to be at, and to do that as consistently as possible.”
“It’s a difficult venue to go to, we lost up there on our last trip in a game that we played well in and could have won. We’ve spoken about it before but it’s about making sure we are on the right side of those fine margins. That comes through hard work and if we apply ourselves right, it’s a game that we are capable of winning.”
“The entire squad are working hard week in week out just now and are really looking forward to each game. I’m sure the lads are excited about this one, as we all are, but I cannot stress enough that we are going to have to be at our best against a tough Cove Rangers side.”
“We have a tough month ahead of us but it’s vital that we stay focussed and take one game at a time. There will be a lot of travelling involved but that’s the nature of the business we are in and if we want to be winning, we just need to focus on being at our best each week.”
