Queen's Park turn their attention to Sky Sports Cup action on Sunday as they face Hibernian in the second round of the competition at Ochilview Park with a 3:00pm kick off.
The Spiders will host the knockout cup clash at Ochilview Park two weeks after their last match against the Edinburgh-based side. Hibernian ran out 6-1 winners at home against Queen’s Park in their ScottishPower WPL 1 fixture.
Progression from the second round would see Queen’s Park in the last eight for the first time since 2014; where they lost out on a semi-final place to eventual winners Glasgow City.
Looking ahead to the match, Head Coach Craig Joyce commented: “It’s a game we are looking forward too. Everyone loves cup football, and the beauty of it is you never know what could happen. The girls have a very simple challenge – progress into the next round of the competition.
We of course know that is going to be very difficult. Hibernian are a great side as they showed only a matter of weeks ago in the league. We can take the lessons from that game and Sunday gives us an opportunity to try to put them right.”
𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 Both sides have also met in the final of the Sky Sports Cup final; back in the 2007/08 season. Hibernian lifted the cup after a 4-0 victory at the home of Stirling Albion.

Car Parking – There is no spectator car parking available at Ochilview Park. Supporters who are travelling by car are encouraged to park at Stenhousemuir Primary School or The Tryst Road showgrounds. Supporters are reminded to park responsibly in the surrounding area.
Catering – The catering kiosk within the stadium offer a range of snacks and beverages. Payment is via Cash Only.
Stadium Entry – Supporters of both sides will be housed in the Norway Stand, and should enter via turnstiles 1&2.
