Queen's Park Women begin the second quarter of the ScottishPower PL2 League with a home tie against Gartcairn at New Tinto Park. Kick off at 3:00pm.
Today's opponents will provide a tough challenge. It's the first time we have faced Gartcairn since Toni has been in charge. I'd like to extend a warm welcome to him and his side today. This week clubs all around Scotland are coming together to Show Racism the Red Card. Football is our national game ands everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy sport without fear of that who they are will be used to discriminate against them.
Today we face Gartcairn. They are a better side than their position in the league suggests, so we know today will be a tough challenge. That said we come into the game in good spirits and are aiming to make sure the three points stay in Glasgow. During today's game we are supporting Show Racism the Red Card. It's a very simple message - football is for everyone. No one should face discrimination because of who they are.
