M&D Green Go Red with Queen’s Park

Queen’s Park are delighted to announce that David McLean was the winner of the Valentine’s Day Twitter competition that was run in association with M & D Green Pharmacy, who are the back of jersey sponsors for The Spiders.

Family-owned independent chain, M & D Green Pharmacy, who have 30 pharmacies situated across central Scotland, as well as Inverness-shire and Lothian, incorporating M & D Green Dispensing Chemists, Penmans Pharmacy and T. McLean & Sons, presented the prizes of a red Queen’s Park away jersey and a bottle of perfume in a novel way.

The handover took place in Stepps via an Automated Prescription Collection Point with Beth and Christie from M & D Green tapping in the secret code to receive the prizes as David was unfortunately unable to attend.

David did however pass on this message to the club and M & D Green as he said: “I was delighted to be selected as the winner of the Red Valentine’s Day jersey. Unfortunately, I was unable to pick it up in person but it was great that M & D Green Pharmacy and the club got together to get it to me along with a bottle of perfume.”

“It has been a great season so far and hopefully that can continue against Morton on Saturday.”

Campbell Thomson from M & D Green said: “I was delighted with the response from Queen’s Park fans to the competition. We thought handing over the jersey and the perfume via the Automated Prescription Collection Point was a unique way to do things as well as highlighting the service which is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.”
