Queen’s Park FC today announced plans to show fans the people who work behind the scenes, providing a real insight into how everyone at the club is working to deliver success on and off the pitch.
Over the coming weeks the series of videos will focus on people working at Lesser Hampden and Lochinch, with physiotherapist Euan Duffy first up.
Euan qualified, as a physiotherapist, in 2018 with an BSc (Hons) degree from Glasgow Caledonian University. He then started working, part-time, with Pollok Juniors and Celtic Academy while working full-time in the NHS at University Hospital Hairmyres.
Euan moved from Pollok Juniors to East Kilbride at the end of January 2020, where he worked for a month before the first Covid lockdown, before joining Queen’s Park as full-time physiotherapist in August 2020.
Chief Executive Leeann Dempster said: “The Club is still fresh into the new, professional era after its previous long and illustrious history as an amateur club. What we want to do is to show our members and our supporters just how well our team is working to deliver success on the pitch alongside a club that delivers real impact in the communities in which it is rooted.
“We hope they enjoy the videos, and understand just how vital the efforts of every single member of our club team are to delivering success.”
