Hot on the heels of Friday’s news that David Galt has re-signed, Queen’s Park is delighted to announce goalkeeper Wullie Muir has signed a new contract to remain with the club.
Head Coach Ray McKinnon commented: “I’m delighted to have retained the services of Wullie. He is a great professional, an excellent keeper and the type of player we need at this club. His experience and knowledge of the club is also crucial. It’s vital that we have two top quality goalkeepers and there was never a doubt in my mind that I wanted to keep him here beyond the summer. The club are lucky to have a keeper of his calibre.”
After completing contract formalities, Wullie said: “I’m very happy to have re-signed. When the offer was put to me it was a very easy decision to commit. I’ve really enjoyed my time at the club to date and I’m excited at the opportunities that now lie ahead. The club clearly have strong aspirations for the future, and I’m delighted to be part of it.”
