As we grow as a club, it is imperative that we enhance this area of our business, and working with an established partner will provide us with this all in one retail solution.”
On behalf of the club I would like to place on record our thanks to the Supporters Association and the countless volunteers who have supported the club with retail over the years. We will continue to work together on fundraising initiatives over the years ahead.”
Keith McAlliser commented: “After about 50 years being involved in the souvenir shop, I’m hanging up my wee money bag. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it, but it’s now just far, far too much to be undertaken on a voluntary basis. I’ve been very lucky to have some real stalwarts involved and doing the hard work, but I did flag up to the Club during the year that it was time I stood down and that if they had thoughts on bringing the merchandising in-house, this would be the time to do it.”
A big thanks to Susan and Eileen Myles, Dougie Hunter, Logan Taylor, and the indefatigable Lorna Shields who has, with the assistance of Carol and Gregor Hall and Mhairi Gordon, sent out over a thousand tops and other orders over the past two years. A special mention to Brian McGonigle and Gordon McGinley who were there at the start of it all, and to Libby Raeburn who supplied us with countless t-shirts and hats.”
And a big thank you to all of you who have supported the shop over the years.”
Finally, a big thanks to Admiral for support over last few seasons and helping produce some iconic kits… who can forget our best-selling away kit these past two seasons.
