Queen’s Park FC today announced the signing, subject to international clearance, of 22-year-old defender Charlie Fox.
Charlie started his professional career in the Queen’s Park Rangers Academy in 2017 and last season made 13 appearances for Bromley in the National League, English football’s 5thtier.
Head Coach Laurie Ellis said “We are delighted to welcome Charlie into our squad at Queen’s Park. He will add several good qualities to the team and will be a great addition to our group. Charlie is an ambitious young player who is delighted to be here and is excited about the challenges ahead.”
Charlie said: “I’m really pleased to have had the opportunity to join the club. It was an easy decision to make from a personal perspective, despite interest from clubs down south. I feel that nothing really happens unless you take yourself out of your comfort zone and the opportunity to come north to Glasgow was one which I really wanted to take. I’ve been made to feel very welcome by everyone so far and I can’t wait to get going.”
Welcome to Queen’s Park, Charlie!
