THE COUNTDOWN is on until the Spiders’ open training session on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
Sean Crighton will bring his first-team squad to The city Stadium and put them through their paces on the pitch – and the club will open the doors at 11.30am for fans to watch the players’ preparations at 12pm.
It’s a peek behind the scenes at what it takes to be a Queen’s Park player and something few fans will see beyond a matchday – and our announcement last month was warmly received.
Head-coach Sean said: “I’ve taken part in similar sessions at my previous clubs and it’s always a great day.
“The supporters will get to see what it takes to be a professional player, the work that goes on behind the scenes and they can watch their favourite player up close.
“For us it will be another opportunity for the players to work on the brilliant surface and facilities we have at The city Stadium but it’s a chance to bring a buzz together with the fans.
“I want to build a culture at the club of everyone in it together this season. If the fans can be here for a look behind the scenes at training, seeing us working, then they will enjoy it, and it will only help us.”
As previously detailed there will be an autograph and selfie session after training is complete and members and season ticket holders can register to collect their free poster and catering voucher ahead of the event.
Each of this season’s match kits will also be available.
Doors open at 11.30am with training and the meet-and-greet running from 12pm until around 2pm.
Catering will be available in the south-east kiosk and Bar 1867 will be open, including the pop-up shop, from 2pm.
Season ticket holders and members have until 12pm on Thursday, July 17 to register for their free catering kiosk voucher and poster – which can be collected from club reception from Tuesday (July 15).
