At different ends of the pitch, both made significant contributions to our League 2 title winning season.  The injuries they suffered towards the end of the campaign came just before their existing contracts were due to end.  By offering new deals, Peter and Jai will be able to continue their recouperation under the watchful eye of our physiotherapy team and fight for a place in new Head Coach Laurie Ellis’ squad.

Club President David Hunter said “Offering Peter and Jai an opportunity to stay with us, hopefully to complete their return to full fitness and fight for a place next season, we felt the right thing for the club to do in the circumstances.  They are both highly motivated to conquer their injury challenges and get back on the pitch”.
