Cillian Sheridan’s positive start to life as a Queen’s Park player has continued with the experienced striker being voted by the Spiders’ supporters as the Buck’s Bar Southside Player of the Month for March.
February ended with Cillian scoring against Arbroath on his first start and the 34-year-old carried on impressing during March as he added goals against Partick Thistle and Ayr United. Cillian also created two goals against the Red Lichties and last month a delightful pass from the Republic of Ireland internationalist setting up Ruari Paton for a goal against the Jags with his chipped finish against The Honest Men turning out to be the match-winner.
Cillian said: “I have not been at the club long, but I have settled in quickly as it is a great bunch of players here. Scoring so soon into my time at the club helped me settle as well and it has been great to add a couple of more goals as well.
“It is great to be recognised by the fans as the Buck’s Bar Southside Player of the Month especially as I am just in the door.”
