Queen’s appoint Craig Joyce as Women’s Team manager

After a robust recruitment process Queen’s Park are delighted to announce Craig Joyce as Women’s Team Manager assisted by Iain Ferrie

Craig led Glasgow Women to promotion to SWPL1 last season finishing runner’s up to Dundee United, having been there for two years, and previously coaching at both Glasgow City, and Rangers.

Iain was also part of the successful Glasgow Women’s promotion challenge as well as having spells coaching at Glasgow City, Rangers and the Clyde FC Academy.

Commenting on the appointments, Charlie Bennett from the Queen’s Park FC Foundation said: “We are very happy to have Craig and Iain on board for the new season. They have a successful track record, and I’ve been really impressed with the plans, and motivation they have shown to take us through to SWPL1 and consolidate our position there. Behind the scenes we are working hard to develop the girl’s and women’s game here at Queen’s Park to the highest level.”

New Manager Craig Joyce said: “I’m delighted to be the Manger of Queen’s Park, it’s an illustrious club with ambitious plans to develop their Girls & Women’s pathway. We are under no illusions with the challenge ahead, but we are very excited to be on board and are looked forward to getting started.”
