Queen’s Donate to scottish Homeless Project

Queen’s Park Football Club are delighted to donate over 15 large bags of old training and playing kit to the Scottish Homeless Project.

The kit including warm jackets, waterproof jackets, tops, socks, and shorts, adult and children’s sizes will be redistributed by the Project to homeless people across Glasgow.

The initiative also saves the clothes from ending up in landfill reducing the Club’s carbon footprint and lessening our impact on the environment.

Commenting on the donation Charlie Bennett from Queen’s Park FC said: “This is another great example of Queen’s Park’s commitment to local people. The old kit will support some of the most disadvantaged in our communities whilst also improving our green credentials and helping save the planet.”
