Queen’s Park are delighted to advise that their ‘Stars of the Future’ can come along and support the Men’s First Team Squad with a free Adult and Child Ticket available to all Queen’s Park Academy players.
The offer starts on Saturday, October 7 when Greenock Morton visit with tickets available from Academy Coaches for that game and every other cinch Championship game held at the National Stadium at Hampden this season.
The Queen’s Park Academy, which was awarded Club Academy Scotland (CAS) ‘Elite’ earlier this year looks after the development of players from the age of 11 to 18 and is formed of three sections – The Children’s Programme (under-11 to under-14), Youth Programme (under-15 to under-17) as well as The under-18’s and Young Queen’s Park.
Allowing Academy players in for free is the fourth initiative Scotland’s oldest club has launched as they look to grow their fan base with attendances at recent home games boosted by ‘The Tickets for Schools’ programme, Free Tickets for Local Community Groups and players from The Queen’s Park FC Foundation.
Director of Football Operations Marijn Beuker, who heads up the Academy, said: “I am really pleased that we are giving our young players the opportunity to watch Championship football with Queen’s Park. Going to games at Hampden will be a terrific experience for them whilst also showing the standards required to play first team football.”
