Queen’s Park along with partners Dunns Food and Drinks mark Sober October

Many people across Scotland are participating in Sober October which sees them choose to abstain from alcohol for all 31 days of the month and Queen’s Park along with club partners, Dunns Food and Drinks are pleased to acknowledge their commitment.

Queen’s and Dunns are marking the month, during which many people raise funds for charity, on the pitch and in Bar 1867 which is situated in the JB McAlpine Pavilion at The city Stadium at Friday night’s cinch Championship game at Hampden against Partick Thistle.

On the pitch, the Queen’s Park Man of the Match against the Jags will receive a bottle of Curries Red Kola from Dunns Food and Drinks, who sponsor the award, as opposed to the traditional bottle of champagne to mark their stand-out performance.

Please look out for the rather different Man of the Match photo on social media over the weekend.

Also, we would ask that anyone who is in Bar 1867 before kick-off on Friday night, and is participating in Sober October, to let the staff know so that they can receive a bottle of Curries Red Kola free of charge.
