Queen’s Park are Proud to Support Our Friends at Epilepsy Scotland

As a club we have a long standing relationship with Epilepsy Scotland through Life Member, John Richmond and we look forward to working together in the months ahead.

Epilepsy Scotland provides Wellbeing, Welfare Rights, Youth Group and Helpline services to help provide information, support and guidance for the 55,000 people living with epilepsy in Scotland.

The #BecauseOfEpilepsyScotland Christmas appeal aims to highlight the importance of the charity’s services and how valuable they are for people living with epilepsy in Scotland.

Epilepsy Scotland will be sharing stories from their Youth Groups and Wellbeing Groups who share how the charity has helped them.

They will also be holding a collection at Braehead Shopping Centre on Sunday 25 November.

Lesslie Young, Epilepsy Scotland’s Chief Executive, said: “We know times are tough for people across the country due to the current cost of living crisis.

“But any donation big or small can make a huge difference to people living with epilepsy. Our services, information and support are vital for people with epilepsy in Scotland. They act as a lifeline for people who are struggling to cope.

“We want to continue to be there for people affected by epilepsy in Scotland but can only do this with your support. Donations can be made via text or online and we would appreciate if people can donate as much as they can and help us make this years Christmas appeal our biggest ever.”

To make a donation text BECAUSE to 70085 to donate £3. Or you can make a donation via Epilepsy Scotland’s website at www.epilepsyscotland.org.uk/appeal

The club would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the relationships built between the Supporters Association and Supporters Team with Epilepsy Scotland, as well as the fundraising done over a number of years in memory of the late Martin Kelly.

The tenth anniversary of Martin’s tragic passing comes in 2023 and the club will be making plans to mark this.
