FOLLOWING end of season meetings and as part of our preparations for a fifth consecutive season in the William Hill Championship, the club can now provide a squad update for supporters.
June 1 sees the start of close season with the new 2026-27 season schedule coming into focus. Pre-season training for the Queen’s Park first-team squad will begin later this month.
Spiders supporters will be aware of a number of contract renewals already confirmed, and these players will join our existing contracted players when they report back on June 18.
Further announcements are planned to add to the returning players group, and will be communicated in due course.
The club can now also update supporters on the players who will depart the club at the conclusion of their contracts. Each leaves with our very best wishes and appreciation for their efforts as a Queen’s Park player.
The following players will move on from the Spiders this summer: Jamie Bradley, Leo Clark, Michael Collie, Connor Falls, Leo Fisher, Sam MacLachlan, Liam McLeish, Timam Scott, Niko Ujdur and Ricky Waugh.
In addition, and as previously detailed, Harris Afzal will also leave the club to join Southampton FC.
The club would again like to place on record an appreciation of the endeavour and talents of each player leaving the club and wishes them well for their future careers.
Work will continue at Lochinch and The city Stadium ahead of the new season and pre-season return on June 18, with further announcements pertaining to the playing squad and coaching staff to be made in due course.
