Queen’s Park Tickets Hit The Streets

NEIGHBOURS – everybody needs good neighbours.

At Queen’s Park, we love our place at the heart of the southside community and have a strong bond with our nearby schools, businesses and supporters.

So much so, we want to be a particularly good neighbour and while we can’t offer a cup of sugar or to take a parcel in for you – we CAN invite you round for a cuppa and a match instead.

Just as young pupils have been able to take in a game with their class-mates, it’s time for you and your neighbours to head to Hampden for a game too.

We’d call that the perfect blend, especially for you.

After the great success of our Tickets for Schools programme, which has seen thousands of new and young supporters visit the club – many for their first ever football match – we are now throwing open our doors for a STREET PARTY.

You don’t have to follow the Spiders home and away either – just simply be neighbours.

And our all-new Tickets for Streets programme is accepting applications NOW.

Like the Tickets for Schools scheme we’ll have up to 50 free tickets for the winning street, eligible to each household that shares its address in the nomination.

Not only will the families and residents in the street be treated to a Queen’s Park fixture at Hampden together, they’ll receive a special mention and welcome at the game and the successful applicant can claim to be the ace of the avenue, the darling of the drive and the saviour of the street – and win a free drink in BAR 1867 before the match.

The winning guests will also have a table reserve for them in Bar 1867 so they can meet up before the match.

Head of commercial Kieran Koszary said: “Our tickets for schools has been, and continues to be, such a great success and popular programme for introducing new fans to Queen’s Park we felt there was room to expand it and bring even more supporters along.

“We welcome community groups to Hampden, schools and clubs,

“As a proud community club, what better way to foster stronger community relations for our southside streets and neighbourhoods than getting together at the local football club in the heart of the southside?

“You never know what’s around the corner so I’d urge all Spiders fans to get their neighbours involved – get to know next-door a little better – and have a great day out by applying to this fantastic new opportunity as soon as they can.

“The initiative is open to ALL streets – southside and beyond – and we look forward to good neighbours meeting up at a match soon.”

If you wish to nominate your street for any of our remaining home league fixtures at Hampden, please email tickets@queensparkfc.co.uk
