QUEEN’S PARK welcome Clyde to The city Stadium for the sides’ second meeting of the season – and the third matchdate
Last week’s game was postponed at short notice after Storm Bram battered Scotland and caused damage to the roof of The city Stadium.
That was quickly fixed in the aftermath allowing our match with Dunfermline to go ahead on Saturday and it’s all systems go for the Bully Wee this evening.
Earlier in the campaign a pre-season friendly organised between the sides doubled as a City of Glasgow Cup tie. This time it’s the KDM Evolution trophy that pits the old rivals against one another.
Until last season it’d be fair to say the Spiders had a fairly indistinguished record in the competition, reaching the semi-finals twice in the competition’s 35-year history before last season’s run to the final.
The Bully Wee have also reached the final just once, and never won it – losing on penalties to Ross County in 2007.

Clyde sit third in William Hill League Two with 23 points and a genuine chance of promotion this season.
Darren Young’s Bully Wee trail leaders East Kilbride and The Spartans by five and four points respectively, but have had a steady return both home and away
They have been ably assisted by one Jamie Bradley – the Spiders midfielder is ineligible for this one under the terms of his loan, but has been a significant contributor to their efforts this season.
In the KDM Evolution Trophy, they finished 15th of the 22 qualifiers to earn this knock-out round clash with their old rivals.
