SEAN CRIGHTON and the Spiders will sign off from The city Stadium against Dunfermline Athletic in the penultimate game of the William Hill Championship this season.
The Pars enjoyed a profitable trip to the southside a week ago, playing Falkirk next door in Barclays Hampden – and booking a Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Final place in the process.
Neil Lennon’s side still have a play-off place in their potential grasp – though that could be cut and dried before kick-off at 3pm.
For the Spiders, their second tier status has already been confirmed but Sean Crighton has tasked his players with as high a finish as possible – with the additional prize money and status of fifth place still possible.

The Season so far...
Job done. Sean Crighton promised a hard-working team who’d give everything for the cause when he took the head coach job last May.
He and the Spiders squad have delivered with second tier safety assured last weekend at Morton.
Only Queen’s Park and Ayr United know for sure they’ll be William Hill Championship clubs next season, with play-off places still to play for at the top and bottom of the division.
Dunfermline also have a Scottish Gas Scottish Cup Final on the horizon with players potentially playing for places at the end of the season showpiece too.
The Pars are one of the three teams Queen’s Park have failed to defeat this season – but the Spiders have the opportunity to right that record and reduce it to one over the next seven days.
That task begins this weekend and after two draws and a single goal defeat – and just three goals scored across all three games, another tight one could be in store at the sold-out city Stadium.

As a thank you for the support over the season, the QPSA will have a face painter in Bar 1867 for young supporters pre-match – as well as a giveaway at the supporters table in the concourse before the game and at half-time.
Bar 1867 is open to both sets of supporters with doors at 12.30pm, re-opening again at full-time.
The final 50-50 draw of the season, in association with Howden, will take place with sales pre-match and at half-time and the winner announced on the 67th minute.
