Queen’s Park v Livingston – Match Preview

Queen’s Park host Livingston on Sunday, 24th of August in match day 2 of the SWPL2 season at Kirkintilloch Community Sports Complex. Kick-off is at 1 pm.

Queen’s Park will play their first competitive game at their new home stadium in Kirkintilloch tomorrow as they face Livingston in the SWPL2.

Queen’s will be looking to bounce back after losing their season opener 4-2 away to Dundee United last week. The Spiders will also be looking to secure their first home win, with their only other game in Kirkintilloch being a pre-season defeat against Montrose.

The visitors will also be looking to secure their first points of the season after they lost 2-0 away to Boroughmuir Thistle on the opening weekend.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s match, Iain Robinson said: “I thought we deserved more out of the {Dundee United} game than we got. We had more shots than Dundee Utd, but unfortunately, we couldn’t convert as many as we’d like and got punished by a good side at the other end.

“Training has been good this week, excellent intensity and moments where we’ve identified where we can improve from last week, so overall positive moving into Sunday’s fixture.”
