Queen’s Park working with Escape Recruitment and local charity– that is Up2us!

The successful partnership between Queen’s Park, Escape Recruitment and local charity - Up2Us, which started last season, will be in evidence again this Friday when the cinch Championship game with Hamilton Academical is sponsored by the Livingston based company in support of Up2Us.

Up2Us was founded in 2008, to support children and young people move on from Adverse Childhood Experiences. The charity looks to the improve life experiences and create opportunities for up to one hundred young people per year through their residential care and community support services.

Their 24/7 support helps to build skills, resilience, and positive memories which increase young people’s chances of a more optimistic future.

Ian Spittal, Manager of the community support team at Up2Us said: “There is a real affinity with the values and ethos of Up2Us in both Escape Recruitment and Queen’s Park. Also, Queen’s Park’s participation in, and provision for local communities, mirrors the commitment and aspirations of Up2Us as a service of choice for vulnerable and marginalised young people.”

Escape Recruitment Services was founded in 2000 and is focussed on providing high quality and cost-effective recruitment solutions for the Scottish Engineering & Manufacturing job market with Director Mark Mackill saying: “As a Queen’s Park season ticket holder and board member at Up2Us, I am delighted to be able to support the continued partnership between the charity and the club.”
